Texas Independent Film Festival 2013
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (March 1, 2013) – The Bryan/College Station film communities reunite as the Texas A&M University filmmaking club, Aggie SWAMP (ScreenWriting, Acting, & Movie Production), brings the Texas Independent Film Festival to the Brazos Valley April 19th and 20th, 2013.
The Texas Independent Film Festival is an exhibition of independently produced films and unique creative visions from around Texas and the nation selected for the B/CS communities; and will run Friday, April 19th and Saturday April 20th in the Ray Auditorium on the west end of the Texas A&M university campus. Theatrical screenings each night will include as many as four hours of selected short films featuring workshops and a feature length film on Saturday afternoon. Full schedule is available at www.txfilmfest.com. Many of the filmmakers will be in attendance for question and answer sessions following their film's segment. Many of the short films being exhibited have either been accepted at or are winners of various awards in film festivals throughout the world. Tickets, which include film screenings of a single day, and Festival Badges, which cover all events across both days, are now on sale online and will also be available at the door.
