Children's Grief Awareness Day

November 15^th is Children's Grief Awareness Day.  College Station Kiwanis Club in partnership with Hillier Funeral Home is inviting you to show your support for grieving children, by wearing blue and by attending a Candlelight Vigil at Central Park Pavilion in College Station 6:30 – 7:30pm. The death of a loved one can have a lasting effect on a child.   1 out of 20 children will experience the death of a parent before they graduate from high school while 1 in 5 children will experience the death of someone close to them by age 18.
